We have a history of joint investments,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"mc-column content-text active-extra-styles \" data-block-type=\"unstyled\" data-block-weight=\"68\" data-block-id=\"6\">\n<p class=\" content-text__container \" data-track-category=\"Link no Texto\" data-track-links=\"\" data-mrf-recirculation=\"Article links\">One example cited was Mubadala, Abu Dhabi\u2019s sovereign fund, which is \u201cvery well positioned in different sectors of the Brazilian economy,\u201d according to Mr. Al Hajeri. Mubadala has investments in concessions such as the Rio de Janeiro Metro; in financial assets such as Americas Trading Group (ATG), which is leading the project for a new stock exchange in Rio; and in education, with investments in medical training courses.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"mc-column content-text active-extra-styles \" data-block-type=\"unstyled\" data-block-weight=\"28\" data-block-id=\"7\">\n<p class=\" content-text__container \" data-track-category=\"Link no Texto\" data-track-links=\"\" data-mrf-recirculation=\"Article links\">Sectors such as food security, renewable energy, infrastructure and logistics, technology, and artificial intelligence were cited by UAE representatives as areas of interest for new investments in Brazil.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"mc-column content-text active-extra-styles \" data-block-type=\"unstyled\" data-block-weight=\"31\" data-block-id=\"8\">\n<p class=\" content-text__container \" data-track-category=\"Link no Texto\" data-track-links=\"\" data-mrf-recirculation=\"Article links\">In 2023, bilateral trade\u2014excluding oil\u2014exceeded $4 billion. For Mr. Al Hajeri, this is \u201conly the beginning.\u201d \u201cOur goal is to significantly expand trade volumes, investment flows, and sectoral collaboration,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"mc-column content-text active-extra-styles \" data-block-type=\"unstyled\" data-block-weight=\"28\" data-block-id=\"9\">\n<p class=\" content-text__container \" data-track-category=\"Link no Texto\" data-track-links=\"\" data-mrf-recirculation=\"Article links\">In an era of uncertainty, Ms. Al Hashimy said international cooperation is the way to face challenges. Currently, the UAE has 27 trade agreements and is negotiating others.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"mc-column content-text active-extra-styles \" data-block-type=\"unstyled\" data-block-weight=\"41\" data-block-id=\"10\">\n<p class=\" content-text__container \" data-track-category=\"Link no Texto\" data-track-links=\"\" data-mrf-recirculation=\"Article links\">\u201cWe are in the final stage of negotiations with Mercosur.
